In my mac OSX 10.11.6 (OX El Capitan), I am unable to install any software update from the above mentioned site via HP Easy Start. The screenshots are attached below. Printing is working just fine. I am able to add my printer HP Laserjet M1005 from printers and scanners in the system preferences. However, it is not showin any option for scan.

Printing is working just fine. After installing HP Easy scan or even party scanner VueScan, the driver the inbuilt scanner is not getting detected. I have read your comment. However, when I click the link you have mentioned, it says that 'page not found' (screenshot attached).
It is requested to post any update on this aspect. Thank you Regards Mazon.
I have a new all in one printer since a few weeks, the officejet pro 8715. I already have (for several years) its predecessor, the officejet pro 8500. I am having problems getting the 'scan to network folder' function working on the new printer.
Both printers are connected to the same network via Wifi. I have compared and (as far as possible) configured the network settings (via EWS) of the new 8715 printer to be the same as those of the old 8500 printer. The network folder I'm setting up in the new 8715 printer to scan to is exactly the same folder with the same credentials as has been set up in the old 8500 printer (and has been working like a charm for years). Everything else works on the new 8715 printer, we can print to it from all our different computers, we can scan using the 'webscan' option, but I can't get the 'scan to network folder' option to work. I have set it up via EWS in exactly the same way it is working on the old 8500 printer, but I keep getting the message that 'The printer can't connect to the external destination. Check your configuration and try again.'
(message translated from the dutch message I actually get). I have checked, checked and doublechecked if I have entered the credentials correctly. When I configure a new network folder scan destination on the old printer at this moment, with the same path and credentials, its works fine, so the problem is not in the path, credentials or the permissions on the network destination. I have checked (through EWS) if there is a firmware update available, but it states that the firmware is uptodate. I have run the HP Print and Scan doctor, and apart from the tool wanting to install extra software on my computer (which is not the issue, the issue is that the printer won't connect to a network folder), it doesn't find anything wrong. I'm getting a bit frustated here. Is there somebody that has a 'golden tip' to get this working?
Hello I am using a Samsung CLX-3180 printer connected to a MacBook running macOS 10.12 Sierra. I am sanning some documents using the Mac's scanning tool (accessed via System Preferences Printers & Scanners Scan Open Scanner).
I am scanning A4 documents. When the scans are relayed back to the mac, it appears as though only a portion of the page is being scanned and then enlarged to fit an A4 space. The paper size is definitely set to A4.
I've attached a copy of an example document that shows the oversized scan result (first photo) and the actual document (second photo). You can see that not all of the document is being scanned. The sizing issue is happening when I copy as well - the printout of the copy looks like the first photo. This appears to be an intermitent issue with the printer as it was working fine last week but sometimes when it is turned off and then turned on again at a later date, these sizing issues occur. Any idea how to to fix this please? Many thanks in advance.
Oversized Actual Size (A4). My HP Envy 5530 all-in-one printer does not have the add + pages icon to allow me to scan several pages into one file.
I have also downloaded the full software and fixes from HP's website today, 5/16/2018 and they did not help. I also downloaded an HP Scan Extender application that I read about on the forum as a possible solution and the add pages button is always grayed out!
Why is this happening? I got a new computer with Windows 10 in 12/2016 after I purchased this printer in 2013. I also tried logging into Web Services and this does not have this option either. Is something in Windows 10 preventing me from doing this?
I don't understand why nothing I tried has fixed this issue. Can someone help?
